What a wonderful day for a wonderful cause! That is how you can describe the 1st
Annual Super Cooper Heart Run directed by John Fontenot. This race raised money for the Camp Bon Coeur
in honor of Cooper Fontenot, John’s and Ashley’s baby son. He was born with a congenital heart defect in
2004, underwent hours of open heart surgery and is well today because of the
great medical care he received. His
father John made a commitment to raise money through his favorite life style
hobby of running by directing this race.
The participants were treated to good food (by Jody
Ferguson at Casa Ole Restaurant) and good drinks (Schilling Distributors
provided beer) and door prizes, door prizes and more door prizes. What a fun day for a GREAT cause!!!!
